I have a garden bench that I have had for 2 or 3 seasons. I believe that I used some sort of tongue oil on it initially. What type of weather protectant is best for this?? (I am cleaning and sanding it...)
Can I use something that is used
I really like linseed oil - goggle both linseed and tongue oil - the commercial water repellent crap has never worked for more than one season, but they sure get more press.

The irony is that the Celtics are a defensive pair, the best in the league, in fact. Boston has held opponents to an NBA-beat 93.7 points per game this season.
But recently a worrying pattern of allowing the opposition one big offensive quarter has emerged, most curiously when the Magic outscored Boston 36-11 in the third location of Orlando's 96-89 victory Sunday at the TD Garden.
In each of their foregoing four games, the Celtics gave up a 28-position quarter or worse, including a 30-application second quarter against the Nets, a 28-tactic fourth quarter against the Heat, a 31-nicety second quarter against the Wizards and a 30-site first quarter against the Lakers.
The statistics suggest the Celtics' opponents mean only 23.4 points per quarter, so to see teams putting up 36 points in a segregate frame is simply unacceptable to Rivers.
The the gen that some of his players took more frustration in scoring only 11 points as opposed to giving up the 36 only outraged Rivers even more.
