Are Makita Power Tools as good as they say?

I'm trying to find out if Makita makes decent power tools, from what I've read online even their general models are strong, and long lasting. Every review I've read about them is positive, does everyone agree?
Yes. Some tool brands are better than others in some respects. But generally speaking, they are all about the same as far as quality goes. I go for features, and where I can get stuff serviced IF if does break. I have mainly Craftsman, some SnapOn, Freud,

Brea, Calif. - February 8, 2010 - Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Supercross racers have gotten off to a consummate start for the 2010 season, and have been fan favorites since Ring 1. Rookie Ryan Dungey has made his grade in the toughly contested Supercross 450 league, and is currently the points leader going into Circular 6 in Anaheim this weekend. In order to get themselves in front of more diehard fans, the riders of the Rockstar Makita Suzuki combine will be signing autographs at Home Depot on Thursday, February 11, in Anaheim.
Thanks to fortifying from great sponsors Rockstar and Makita, the team has been adept to get their Suzuki RM-Z450s out in front and on the podium. Makita power tools are the choice of the technicians working on these lineage-winning bikes. Rockstar Makita Suzuki troupe riders Ryan Dungey, Matt Moss, and Austin Stroupe will be signing autographs at Where it hurts Depot located at 800 N. Brookhurst St. in Anaheim, California, from 4 pm until 6 pm. The work together looks forward to seeing you there!
